I went from a walrus deep six to the Compact deluxe and even though I found the buffer to add alot of high end to my chain, I cannot live without the cali76 compact deluxe. I added a true bypass loop box to mine.Never laid eyes on a Pro Comp unit, but would like to check one out. I don't know if they're a POS or not - never having seen one. Might have been free because people are afraid of gear drives and whoever bought it got scared I've used them, and chains, and belts.
