The problem with WSM is that performance at range is hard to perceive when most people can't/don't shoot much past 150 yards. The Optics Planet website has two reviews showing on the 457 WL Replacement Barrel area. They show a 3 of 5 rating for the barrel. It really is a crock that the barrel has such a low rating as the 5 star rating one buyer gave is pulled down to a 3 by the one star rating given by someone who was unhappy with the way the barrel(s) he received were packaged.. I put the current Burris 3-12X on my .22 Hornet Exemplar. Magnification of 12X in a EER scope is about the limit for me on hold-ability and twitchy-ness, and it focuses well under 20 yards, maybe even 10 yards.
