The "whitebread" 17/6 probably covers well over 95% of the French style clarinets currently in circulation. Also, when buying any brand or model of mouthpiece in the UK beware of the notation "rebored for B&H large bore clarinet." Mouthpieces rebored in that way will not play in tune or otherwise match your French Boehm clarinet (Yamaha, Buffet, Selmer).Ah, whatever, thats what comes to mind for me anyway. E11N (made in France) With the E11 France also came a higher price. In 2010, Buffet released a clarinet labeled as the "E11". This was simply the E11 France but with nickel-plated keys rather than silver plated keys and was put into a woodshell case vs the backpack case of the E11 France.
